The Great Lakes Fiber Show is held every year on the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Our hours are Saturday 10-5pm and Sunday 10-4pm. Admission is free and there are food vendors on the grounds, including delicious lamb sandwiches.
We are located at The Wayne County Fairgrounds, 199 Vanover St., Wooster, Ohio. It has superior buildings for vendors and the grounds are very well kept. All streets on the grounds are blacktopped.
Show hours will run from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Admission is free and food including roast lamb sandwiches will be available on the fairgrounds.
Vendor booths will feature raw fiber to finished items; spinning, weaving, and knitting/crocheting supplies, along with fiber related crafts. Last year there were over 95 vendors and this year we are full again. There will be a wool fleece show and sale, a skein competition and a garment competition (new this year). Workshops will be presented with pre-registration and fees required. Free demonstrations and kids activities will also be going on.
Workshop registration as well as skein, garment and fleece competition entry forms are included on this site. Vendor booths are already full for this year.
I want to give a special thanks to our committees for all the hard work they have done. Without them, this event would not be possible.
